Les études de marché s'intéressent à un large spectre de dimensions. Taille et dynamique marché, attentes & besoins des clients, concurrence réelle ou perçue, aspects législatifs ou réglementaires, analyse SWOT... Généralement, elles s'appuient essentiellement sur l'analyse de la littérature existante. Elles peuvent cependant être renforcées par une analyse quantitative dédiée.

Plus onéreuses mais plus spécifiques à vos problématiques, les études quantitatives consistent à interroger directement les cibles potentielles.
Vous pouvez ainsi mieux cerner leurs besoins & attentes et leurs comportements actuels, tester différentes propositions de valeur (claims) et/ou offres, identifier leurs motivations ou leurs freins à l'achat. Ces enquêtes permettent également d'effectuer des segmentations de marché. Autrement dit, d'identifier plusieurs profils-type de consommateurs, au rapport différent vis-à-vis de votre problématique.
